Tomo and Chiyo from Tuesday designed the postcard for our show. The July 7th opening day is right around the corner!

Pod Sack

I am working on a new batch of the pod sack. I am just about finished with all of the fabric. Now is the cutting phase, then I will hand the cut pieces over to Tetsushi's mom and she will start sewing them up.

BBQ

Yesterday was our barbeque. We grilled burgers, enjoyed the garden, and even played a little ping pong. Thanks to everyone for coming!

Hamburger Buns

We are getting ready for BBQ tomorrow! We baked buns all day and we are super excited to eat our own burgers.

evening walk

The weather has been great up here. We have been enjoying walking in the evening. The ricefields are all full of water, this one is still waiting for the rice plants.

garden updates

The almond tree is making almonds! We will probably get about ten this year. And the Yukianagi is blooming. Everything is green and happy around here. We are loving springtime.

Ladybug

I found a ladybug in the garden this morning. Most of the ladybugs around here are black with red dots, this one is the more traditional red with black dots.
