finishing!

The floor is almost finished! Today we put the first coat of oil. Within a week all of the finishing process should be finished and we can get things set up in the cafe again.

We finally got to work on the new floor in the cafe. Hopefully by tomorrow we will install all of the flooring material. We are looking forward to seeing how different the space feels when we are finished. More updates to come...

Today I made coasters all day....tedious and repetitive, my kind of work.

snow!

It has been snowing for days...

I like the way the snow looks, but not how it feels when Tetsushi is throwoing it at me. I really have to watch my back this time of year.

new office

Since we are redesigning the cafe space, we moved the cafe tables into the office and built a giant shelf. It is so nice to have a comfortable working environment. We love it! Now we really have to start working on the cafe!
